"The only thing I didn’t really like was the lack of lounge area by the pools. There was not enough seating compared to the size of the pools. The rest of the property is beautiful. I am disappointed with the trend of the resort fees always added on. Just roll this into the nightly price of the room"

"My family and I loved it! Everyone and I mean everyone was so nice and helpful. The pool was not crowded there were enough chairs to lay in the sun and the employees kept an eye out for people holding chairs( that’s not allowed). The room was clean they came by everyday to service the room. We loved it and would most definitely recommend and go back."

"I loved this place. My stay this time involved 2 hotels - this one and another nearby. Unfortunately I spent the majority of my time at the other one when I should have stayed here. I did get lucky to have a balcony on both stays, but there are not many in the building, so beware that you likely will not get one - in which case the room is still big enough, but I do love having a balcony when staying in Hawaii. The great thing is this place does not charge a resort fee - and it is definitely not a resort, but for the millions of times I've stayed in Hawaii, this place was great for the money. I normally stay on the east side of Waikiki - closer to the zoo/Diamond Head - and this was my first time staying this side. It is much quieter on this side. It's a plus/minus - it's wonderful to have it be so quiet and not hear all the garbage trucks in the morning like when you are in the middle/east of Waikiki. But it was also kind of sad to not see/hear/be in the middle of all the action. Both are good depending on the trip. I'd definitely stay here again. All the staff were super nice and welcoming."
