「We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. It's a big open farmhouse, and Scotland isn't known for it's tropical weather so we were a little chilly (even in August!) but we just popped a jumper and slippers on...

「Margo's home was delightful! Really wish we'd had more time to spend there. Beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed and welcoming! One of our top private rental stays ever. We felt very at home and well cared for by the host, who communicated SO very well from the initial booking. We felt comfortable with no anxiety about getting there or getting in or whatever. It is a bit out from downtown EDB but public bus stops were close by. Well worth the extra travel time in and out of the tourist area....

「BOOK……THIS……HOME!The location is incredible, on a working farm, with a cafe and quaint restaurant, literally steps away. The Owners are sharing their family history with travelers and the modern updates and construction they have done is comparable to the best renovation teams on TV. It is well appointed, the attention to detail is strong, the beds are comfy, and a bathroom for every bedroom allows for space, and privacy for anyone staying. Having said all that, we met three of the owners and...

「A great lodging in a fantastic location. We really appreciated that we could walk to just about everywhere in downtown Edinburgh, and had easy access to train, bus, and tram as well. So nice to be on Calton Hill, where a few steps up took us to a grand view over the city, and yet we felt as if we were in a very private place. The two-story lodging feels very homey and it was lovely to return to at the end of the day. We had neighbors downstairs a couple of nights during our weeklong stay but...
