"We booked this property for (1) night, 5 days before we were going to New York. We live in Maryland. Instant booking, no issues. I didn’t hear from the host at all. I messaged the host twice Saturday. The day I was suppose to be checking in. He then calls my cell phone and tells me that this rental is usually meant for 3-4 night stay minimum. No where in the contract/info/description said that. He told me he was going to cancel the booking because the property wasn’t ready! He must’ve just seen the booking when he saw my 3 DM messages from vrbo asking for my check in info. Since we were already in route to New York, I was begging him to not cancel because he wasn’t ready. so he put us in another property, 20 min from our destination. The property was nice, but I would not recommend booking from this vendor. Poor communication, was not ready, does not look at his bookings, was willing to cancel cause he was not ready! Not cool. I appreciate you accommodating us and fixing your mistake, but I will not rent from them again."
