“The ocean was visible. The hot tub is extremely small. Says maximum capacity 6 - no way. Also, it was very dirty. I’ll spare details. Other than that, a wonderful stay. The restaurant across the street was stellar!”

Our room was beautiful but the bed was old and horrible will have to buy a mattress topper for next time, and those chairs aren't comfortable either but the view is fantastic!!!”

“Fruit could be fresher. Maybe bananas instead of apples. And bagels. Boiled eggs in the fridge on the weekend. And bacon instead of sausage. Otherwise very friendly staff. We have been coming here for years. First time bringing our dog and we were very pleased with how welcoming you were. We will be bac. Rooms were clean and comfortable. ”

“We had a great experience at the Hotel Portsmouth. The decor is super funky and fun. The beds were very comfortable, and the included breakfast was nice. We also visited the very cool bar downstairs. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Just a note that the front rooms look out onto the street, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room toward the back of the property.”

“Room was great and location awesome! We walked to Congress street - optional street pay meter parking and valet offered. The food and drinks at this Marriott were delicious! We had apps…NE clam chowder and the roasted cauliflower. INCREDIBLE. The cocktail of the day was raspberry Lemon drop - superb! ”

“We booked last minute while passing through town, we absolutely loved it and had a great experience. Def want to go back again in the warmer weather but gets pricey as the weather warms up ”

“The staff were super friendly! Breakfast was fresh fruit, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, granola, juice, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Very good! The property is in the best location! Walkable to dining, shopping, Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and the beach. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and looking forward to our next stay!”
