Newburyport Oldies Marketplace Hotels

"Place was totally dark, but both front doors were open and inside lights were off. Called the number and they had supposedly sent an email. This was about 9:30 pm. Email came through at just before 1 am. Got instructions on the keypad to get in. Room was nice, but none of the three TV’s worked. All had Roku that wasn’t connected to WiFi, Roku sticks didn’t have power. Texted back and forth with the person that gave me room instructions, and after 2 hours gave up on the watching TV idea. Went to make coffee in the am and coffee machine wouldn’t power on. Nice place, I get it was off season, but I was told they would talk to management to make it right in some way. That never happened so I wrote this review. I get things go wrong but when you don’t try and make it right in some way it’s just bad business. "

"Beautiful building, lots of classic antique touches, room was spotless, staff was incredible, short walk to water front, and included breakfast was classic. About only complaint I had was the HVAC unit which was like the "Motel #" type, extremely loud, and kept waking me up. "

"This condo was everything that we were looking for! First off, it was a beautiful unit from the decor to the exposed brick. The bedrooms were perfectly sized and the beds were super comfy. We also appreciated the extra blankets and firmness options for the pillows! The bathroom was well stocked with good water pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and Michael was quick to respond to all our questions. We especially loved that we were in walking distance to whatever we needed, with the added bonus of being super close to our best friends. We would definitely stay here again!"
