“Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great.
House is wonderful and very peaceful.
Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent.
Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face.
Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required.

“Perfect for our one night stop-over enroute to another venue. It's quite a big, old building with some quirky features but we had everything needed in our room which was well presented. Staff were personable. Breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a one-way road system. It's compact car park is to the rear of the property. If you miss the hotel car park sign on approach and pass the hotel on your left, follow the one-way clockwise, turning left just before the hotel. ”

“Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan.
