“We had an amazing 5 night stay at Talavera Palm Springs. The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The housekeeping staff are incredibly professional and the grounds are like a Zen retreat. Amenities were excellent including coffee and cold drinks available night and day and well maintained bicycles to explore the surrounding neighborhoods. The property is on a quiet street but literally in the middle of the heart of Palm Springs. Our room was perfect……

“The property is beautiful — well-maintained grounds, two lovely pool areas, and nicely updated rooms. You can tell there’s real potential under the new ownership. I was expecting a family-friendly environment, but not for the owner’s kids to be the only children on the property and taking center stage. They weren’t misbehaving, just being kids — a bit loud ,crying and leaving small messes — while the owners and their friends played pool basketball and chatted loudly as other guests were quietly……

“Barely saw or spoke to another human other than the maid. It was blissful. Pool is great, rooms cute, and when you’re ready for people downtown is a five minute walk. No kids! Delightful! No crappy music at the pool! Rad! ”

“Amazing hotel. Great value. Excellent vintage and mid century decor. The bed was comfortable, aircon worked well, shower great and room spacious. The pool and jacuzzi were the highlight. Comfortable pool lounges. A great place to stay. Just note there is no reception or staff on site. No issue for me but if you expect that type of service you may be disappointed but it was no issue for us, communication by whats app was good. ”

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, giving us a room upgrade as the room we originally chose did not quite fit our needs. Every room has a generous layout and unique view into the courtyard with its own patio. It is like a little slice of Greece landing in the desert with the mountains right behind it. There is nothing like it in Palm Springs. It does need a little maintenance yet this does not affect……
