“There was no air conditioning, and the room was extremely hot and stuffy. A member of staff told us they would provide an additional fan, so we went to reception to ask. We were told a fan would be sent to our room, but after waiting over an hour nothing arrived. When we returned to reception, we were then told that no fans were available.
We were also not given any information about breakfast, including where it was served or the opening and closing times.

“Really poor experience overall. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and we found numerous hairs in the bathroom which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. On departure, no one even asked how our stay was. Won’t be returning.”

“The property is historic and the grounds are beautiful. The staff was not particular helpful or friendly. We reserved a superior room and were excited about our stay. Sadly when we got into our room we found the temperature to be around 95 degrees in the room and the only relief available from the hotel was a fan. We sweated the entire night with little to no sleep. The next day and after considerable discussion with the front desk we were able to convince them to give us a room with ac.……
