“Great experience in a great place.”

“The staff was extremely courteous. The only drawback was that this hotel functions more like a bed and breakfast -- many functions are managed by a larger facility down the street. Again, the staff is great, but there is sometimes a delay while they have to check with someone in the other hotel for special requests or financial matters. ”

“It was a beautiful historic house in the old city of Cartagena. Close to the walls and most of the old city attractions. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The breakfast was authentic and delicious. They customized things based on individual requests. They even did the laundry for us giving back the cloths folded. Definitely recommend staying there.”

“Upon arriving, I was dropped off by the taxi down the block due to the street not being a drivable street. The area is super loud lot of people that constantly hound you to buy things. I understand. I’m in another country and that’s how they make their living. I’m not against that at all however, if a person says no more than three times then that should mean no.. the actual place we stayed at we were greeted by a nice housekeeper unfortunately she didn’t speak any English so there was a huge……

“We stayed at Hotel Casona del Colegio from July 9–14 and overall had a wonderful stay. This charming boutique hotel is beautifully decorated with lots of character. Our room with a private balcony and hot tub was spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect—within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, bars, and many attractions. Despite being in the heart of Cartagena, we slept very well. A few issues kept this from being a 5-star stay. I noticed two small roaches in our room……

“Staff were amazing, rooms were beautiful. And the rooftop with pool was such a nice space. Food was good, if not excellent (with the exception of the ceviche, which was excellent!) ”

“Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out.”
