"Our stay at Golden Pelican was absolutely amazing! The house is beachfront with a breathtaking beach a very short 3-5 minute walk down the beach to Horse Stable Beach. Even with 2 infants in tow, it was a simple walk (a little rocky at first) and with such a gorgeous beach so close, we rarely went anywhere else. There were numerous lightweight beach chairs with fantastic backpack straps available at the house so we took those, along with the beach towels provided, every day. We saw starfish, rays and even an octopus just steps from the house. We loved the kayaks and the outdoor grill and tables. As a family of 10, we cooked most of our meals at the house and had everything we needed. The home was extremely clean and well kept. The beds were SO comfortable!! There are 2 very large bedrooms on the main floor, each having their own bathroom. There are 3 more bedrooms upstairs with another full bathroom. The house was perfect for our large family. Rosemary was extremely hospitable and is such a dear!! She helped us with pre-stocking the house with groceries and setting up taxi service to the ferry. She had toys for our grandbabies and everything we could possibly need during our stay. We are so thankful for all she did to ensure we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to book again."
"PBV-2 was just as advertised… nice layout, clean, convenient to the best places on North Caicos. 2 MUST MAKE comments …1. Shahida, the property manager, was AMAZING… she was a 6 star performer! I have NEVER experienced the level of support she provided… she actually met us at Bellefield landing to make sure we got our rental car ok, then led us to the house and gave us a quick overview of places we might want to visit. Just absolutely hospitality!2. Visit Reeko’s Beach Bar and Grill at HorseStable beach … it’s a 3 minute drive. Reeko is equally amazing… he is a big guy with an even bigger personality.. and one of the most decent, honest, genuine human beings I have ever met. And an incredible chef… he will cook you the best dinner of your life right there on the beach. There is no “restaurant”… it’s a simple outdoor grill, a “bar”, and a couple tables on the beach… and the nicest, most friendly and hospitable people you will ever meet.And absolutely the best seafood dinner my girlfriend and I have ever had."
