“No lift. For those whom always having problem to climb the stairs like myself, this was a real negative setback. No remote control for the aircond, you have to live with it if you can't cope with cold. But the hotel personnel was great, they will try to help you on anything u need.”

“We booked a family room and on arrival, there was no room available as another guest had extended his stay. Staff were very helpful and we were put in a small windowless room. The aircon worked well but the room could have done with a clean.
We were moved to another room the next morning only after I insisted that I wanted a room I had seen vacant. It was less than I had paid for but seemed okay.
However, on closer inspection once inside the room, the toilet had a leak. They came in to fix……

I was in Kuching for 10 days staying at a different place every 2-3 days all around the same price range and this one was the worse of them all. The tv was a rabbit ear 13" with a snowy picture and 2 Vietnamese channels only. The hotel is old in a not so good area with hookers standing outside the hotel. The hotel is so old if it is clean you can't tell, needs paint, plumping toilet leaking around the base, needs lots of work to bring into a 1-star hotel rating. Many restaurants in walking……

“Hotel's generally all right and one of my favorites whenever I visit. But more can be done for the bathrooms. Second time here and i realized it needs improvements. The room smelled musty, and there was a huge black patch on the ceiling of the toilet with what i assume, is mould. Walls of the toilet weren't exactly clean as well. While it's a non window room and theres no other form of ventilation other than the bathroom vent, i think more effort could be spared to maintaining the bathrooms.……

“There was a fire in my bathroom and they moved me to a different room. The new room they provided the drain backfilled filling up the bathroom floor with sewer water. Make sure that you bring your own toothpaste and soap. Did I mention the cockroach’s? ”
