“Room had outdated furniture with rips underneath, didn't have a pullout couch for sleeping but had a small futon not big enough for an adult. Decor was lacking. No tabke lamps or pictures in living room. Just a plain wall. Not enough seating in living room for 6. No rugs. Not enough toilet paper, trash bags or dishwasher detergent for the week. We got a used sponge in the kitchen. The kitchen table was outdated and only sat 4 and we had 5 but were planning to have 6 but one cancelled. No……

“First note - This is a 3rd floor property with no elevator. It’s going to be a lot of stairs on virtually every trip up and down from the condo. That is really the only con of the property. Therefore I wouldn’t recommend this place for people who struggle to get around or can’t EASILY climb three flights of stairs. Given this is a beach condo, most people are going to be heading up and down the stairs multiple times a day. With that being said, the third floor condos in the Surf Complex are the……

“Fantastic location, convenient access to beach, clean, a little over a mile walk to restaurants and bars. Kitchen was well stocked. Twin mattress was not so comfortable but other beds were very good. Only real issue was oven side sliding door was hard to shut and could not get it locked. Elizabeth tried to get handyman to work on it but they weren’t available due to the holiday weekend. I would definitely rent again.”

“The condo was exactly as described and very clean. Laura is an excellent host and was available to help when needed. I loved that there was a swimming pool across the street and if you drive to the end of the island you can swim and fish on the sound side. Will definitely book this condo again.”

“A great place, perfect location, and perfect views. The ONLY reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that the bedroom I was sleeping in was not as clean as I expected. We brought our own sheets, as directed, but the room had a bad smell when we walked in (stale, and somewhat like urine). The quilt/blanket on the bed wasn't fresh, and there were hairs on the mattress cover, in the sink and on the side of bathtub. I took the mattress cover and blanket off, put our sheets on the bed and slept that way……
