“We arrived at this beautiful, central, charming hotel and were treated like gold. The staff were all kind and welcoming. The food was excellent and our room was lovely. We will go back. ”

The room was clean, the bed comfortable (a lighter duvet would have been a bonus as the room was very warm and that was with the heating off and windows open). If you fancy climbing a Munro, Schiehallion is about 15 minutes from the hotel to the car park. Can't fault it and would stay again. Thank you.”

“We stayed at this charming hotel July 15-18 and were so pleased that we picked this property in Pitlochry. Perched on a hill, the hotel is a lovely 19th century stone building and the interior is impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. We had a premium room and were amazed by the size and beautiful views over Pitlochry. Our first night we decided ahead of time to dine at the hotel and it was absolutely wonderful. From the canapés and drink in the lounge to the last bite of dessert it was……

“The stairs were a little tough but staff took our luggage up and down. There was no air conditioning but the air outside was cool enough to bring the room temperature down with the windows open. The place was charming with a beautiful setting. It was very enjoyable!”

“My son and I spent one night here on May 2, 2025. It was an exhausting day because we were lied to and ripped off by Europcar. We couldn’t get any roadside assistance even though we paid extra for it Upon arrival at the Luib, we were met with understanding and caring. They have a small staff and a tough job. The owners are very successful people and have owned a number of businesses in Europe and now live in their hometown. I bonded with them and staff immediately. Some reviewers are upset that……
