“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

There was a big loud tour bus offloading at the same time, and the young woman at the front desk was so considerate and gracious — without asking, she guided us off to the side and checked us in ahead of the group. Room immaculate. Staff excellent. Really beautifully curated art in the rooms and hallways. Excellent value.”

“We only has an overnight stay including dinner. A very comfortable and well located hotel. A short downhill walk to the centre of Pitlochry which was buzzing. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hydro was well worth a visit, and demonstrates how we should all manage green energy. The fish ladder at the hydro was fascinating.”
