“Things went well Only thing is the sink in the shower area has black gunk around the top perimeter”

“Free breakfast with many options (06-09) Cozy room. Controllable AC. Well kept and clean. Housekeeping comes daily to get bathroom laundry. Decent location with food, groceries, and gas all nearby.”

“It was perfectly what I expected. Not a Hilton but a cheap Motel to get some good sleep at. All bedding and towels were clean. Rooms very clean. Could use updated but sounds like they are renovating. I will stay again.”

“I stayed here at least 10 times, while working nearby. Twice I’ve had to stay in different places due to no available vacancy, and both times I was reminded how much I truly appreciated the hospitality, warm welcome, privacy and convenience of staying at Loyd Hall. During my 3 months of regular stays here, it began to feel like a home away from home. Priced fairly for the many amenities and accommodating hosts. I’ve made special requests a couple times and was met with prompt response……

“The room smell like marijuana. there was cockroaches and ants in the rooms. Otherwise, for the price of the room, it’s good.”

“The room was spacious & clean. The breakfast was hot & delicious. My only issue, but no big deal, was the wifi. It would be spotty at times, and sometimes drop off.”

“This is a nice place to stay. This is the second time that I've stayed here. My only complaint is that there was no juice out for breakfast. Didn't find out until my last day that it was available but the containers were apparently broken so they didn't have it out. You had to go ask for it. This is an easy fix and I'm sure they will have it fixed soon.”

“I knew it was downhill when I couldn’t even get into the room. The door was jammed. Had to have the front desk staff open the door. The room had a faint smell of cigarettes. The bathroom was not clean! Hair all over the toilet seat. Sitting water and soap scum in the bathtub. The lamp bases were dirty. Just overall a very dirty room. I’m very disappointed with my stay. The other reviews were misleading. The staff was pleasant the only good thing about this stay.”

“Parking garage is nice. Hotel is clean and conference center is adequate. Only thing is both elevators were not working when I stayed and a convention was in town. Had to go outside to the stairwell which was not convenient in the rain. The food menu could use an update but the wait/bar staff was friendly. All in all, it would have been your typical Holiday Inn if all the elevators would have been working. The pool area was in serious need of attention at the time of my stay.”
