We loved the house so much! We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and had every possible thing you could need. Every view from the house was gorgeous! Beds comfortable. Great A/C. Cool art. Great communication with easy check in and out. Beautiful beach right outside the door. Lots of shells. Loved eating at the table on the porch watching the ocean. We would love to stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great Beach House

We came in for a wedding and stayed a few extra nights as a family. The house was wonderful. Clean, beautiful and close to shopping and old town St. Augustine's. Would highly recommend this listing.

Cute house on quiet beach

The beach house was in a perfect location for those wanting to get away and relax without all the crowds and noise. We literally only saw 4 other people on the beach the whole time we were there. My only con would be the spiral staircase. The house was cute, but the stairs are not practical for those with kids or older adults in my opinion. They are a bit scary to be honest going up and down. Other than that, we had a great time.

Great beach house right on the beach

Cozy & convenient beach house. Very clean & quiet. Beach was uncrowded & easily accessible. The spiral staircases are a bit of a challenge with luggage, for older folks & kids. Would not recommend for families with kids under 5 or 6.

Beautiful beachfront home!

We loved everything about our stay at the cottage! Even with rainy weather, the beach was gorgeous and we loved shelling and walking. The house is clean, comfy, and unique. My boys loved the little nooks and the spiral stairs (yes, they are steep as other guests have noted - probably not great for older adults or really littles.) We had everything we needed and loved the proximity to Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Great property ! Very 1970’s vintage vibe with modern amenities ! The house was adorbs for sure ! The property manager was great. If you are looking for a quaint quiet vintage getaway ! Beach chairs adorable! We went to Uga Florida game do location was not the best for us . That is not their fault . Will be back for sure !

Such a great house! We loved it! The only two minor things were the tv on the middle level never worked (the teens wanted a movie night) and the coffee pot was small for the size of our group. But beyond that it was absolutely a perfect week and we had a blast!

This is a truly wonderful beach home! Loved the location, the style of the home (exactly as pictured), and the ease of checking in and out. Favorite location for our family was on the covered deck watching the waves… perfection! The home supplies great beach chairs (6), a few beach toys (boogie board, skim board, frisbee, football and small soccer ball, etc.), and beach towels (6). The kitchen is very well stocked and we had no need to buy spices/herbs, paper towels, trash bags, dish and clothes washer detergent, or toilet paper (we did use all supplied TP - about 6 rolls - for a family of 4 for 5 days). Don’t be dissuaded from renting this home based on the spiral stairwell unless you have concerns with small children or elderly… it’s a very unique feature and can be safely used. At night, with the accent lighting under the stairwell, it reminds one of a lighthouse — super cute! Only negative, and it’s minor but still needs to be mentioned, is the twin bed on the 3rd floor against the wall — not at all comfortable and makes horrible noises when moving on it. Prepare to lay in one position all night (ha ha) to avoid waking the house. What a place! Love it and will definitely be back!

Rest and relaxation on the beach

This is the best property we have stayed in on the beach near St Augustine ( coming here for years). It was an awesome stay. Will come here again! My only comments is warn people about the steep driveway...take it sideways or you will scrape your rental. Besides that perfect. Location is amazing and the property is steps from the beach. Saw dolphins swimming in the ocean. Very comfortable. Perfect getaway.

Great stay!

Impeccably clean and comfortable house with nice linens, plenty of beach towels and chairs. Be aware that the kitchen is not really stocked with essentials. We had to bring our own salt and other essential cooking ingredients like oil. I understand that the owners don’t want stuff accumulating in the pantry, but essentials like salt might be nice to provide for guests.

Spring break

The property was very nice, and in a very great location. The only downfall is the spiral staircase that goes up to the 3rd floor. We had to carry our suitcases up to the 3rd floor where 2 of the 3 bedrooms are located. The master is on the 2nd floor so it is up the spiral staircase 1 floor. Carrying the luggage and going up and down the spiral stairs was really hard for us and especially for my 70-75 year old parents.

Loud Property

After many wonderful stays at VRBO and ABB homes over the years, unfortunately I have negative comments about Wrenn Beach Rentals by Portoro. Positively – the kitchen was new, beds were comfortable and the beach chairs were nice. Each day we endured very annoying noise from 7:30AM until 7PM. Staying in the house with the doors closed reduced the noise some. All advertising for Villa Adriana showed a quiet home without much around it. What we found when we arrived was much different than promised: The house to the left was having the front of it removed and new plywood nailed on. Beginning at 7:30AM each day was endless hammers, air compressors, nail gun and sawing. Two of the homes to the right were under construction. 15 steps from the house is a busy highway with 55mph traffic. We heard every truck, motorcycle and car passing. The deck beside the street was so loud it was unusable. When I shared this information with Portoro Rentals they said they were sorry. We will share this with our team. This is how they shut up suffering customers. The cheap kitchen chairs squealed as they were slid across the floor. The round deck table with the ocean view was broken – one half of the tabletop was not attached. You could not pay me to go back there.

Beautiful House

Villa Adriana is a very quaint, pretty house in a great location. It is decorated beautifully, both interior and exterior. The kitchen and bathrooms are all updated. The house was very clean with lots of area rugs, cushy towels, great beach chairs, soft beach towels and loaded kitchen. This house also has so many great outdoor spaces. It has a bathroom on every floor. The decorators had great taste. David and Daphne Lombana at Wren Beach Rentals sent wonderful details for the property. The only downfall to this property is the two winding staircases in the house. The two spiral staircases are very narrow and steep and very difficult to use. We were a group of women ages 21-60 and we felt the stairs were dangerous. If this house had regular staircases I would have given it 5 stars. The stairs don't look too bad in the photos but in person they were not practical. Very dangerous for older people, toddlers, tall people or people with large feet. The steps were very small and narrow.

Eclectic Beach Home with Amazing Ocean Views

South Ponte Vedra is our favorite place to be and this house did not disappoint. We have been visiting the area for the past 7 years. The location was very private, beautiful sunny days, fun waves, and the cleanest beach you will ever visit. We found amazing shark teeth fossils and sea glass along the shore. This is a great place to boogie board or float in a tube as the waves push you to shore. The house has a great sound system that plays from an app on your phone, which was a nice luxury. The house did loose the pictured outdoor private shower area, due to the dunes being restored. However, there is still a shower to rinse off as you come in from the beach, but it is not private. The house is very eclectic and decorated beautifully. Plenty of separate areas to hang out and enjoying the views.
