「Amazing hotel full of antiques and curios. Our room had a four poster bed and a lovely modern shower room. Breakfast was extra (£15) but was huge with toast, cereals, tea and juice. Attached to the hotel is a splendid bar serving cask beers - what more could you want? It's a 10-15 minute walk into the city and all the attractions, and the hotel car park is free!」

「Lovely quiet stay with very comfortable beds. Great room sizes and the bathrooms are very nicely done. The staff are the star of this hotel, super friendly. We requested something outside the norm to help with hospital appointments and the staff really went above and beyond to help us, made our stay and difficult hospital trips so much easier. We didnt get chance to sample the food but no doubt it would have been as good as the rest of the stay. If you are looking for a classic quiet country...
