“Superb staff, Emanuel at front desk went above and beyond printing out maps and providing suggestions for day trips. Hotel and rooms are very dated and lack a cohesive look. Bathroom smelled of sewage and the entire hotel had the smell of grandma’s awful perfume. Rooms are small, location is superb and right on the water. Amazing views from the top floor restaurant. Wait staff fantastic and very attentive.”

“The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the rooms really comfortable and so clean. The whole place was warm ,which was a benefit as the weather outside was distinctly wet and cold.( It was March) The breakfast was all you could wish for and the communal table was an opportunity to meet and talk to people from all over the world. Highly recommended.”

“It's a beautiful hotel indeed, with a lot to offer: a historical embience, elegant decor, spacious rooms, convenient location (both Duomo & Fontana di Diana are within a 10-min walk), simple yet adequate breakfast.... But all these good qualities are offset by a lack of maintenance of its facilities (shower head that seems like breaking down and keeps leaking water from its handle, air conditioner that shuts itself down within 30 mins of operation...) . Service-wise the front desk is only……
