「We’ve stayed at the Germantown Inn for the past three years and have always enjoyed it, and seeing Krissy, the friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper. We were sorry to see this year that the lovely afternoon charcuterie spread is no longer offered and the generous warm breakfast including homemade quiche is now a barebones collection of muffins and other empty carbs and a pot of coffee. 「The location was amazing! Just a block down from Broadway, and 2nd Street also has so much to do. The hotel room was huge, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We had views of the river. We had two kings and a pullout couch. The couch was quirky, but we figured it out. The front desk workers were helpful. 「The room was not properly cleaned the table in dining was covered in old food, the floor needed sweeping and vacuuming as well as the bed frame. The staff were very cold when we first approached the front desk with the male completely ignoring us. It is nice that they allow you to use showers especially when you arrive after driving over night. However they need locked doors on the showers as it was a very uneasy feeling.
