"The beach is very steep, swimming is not an option usually due to red flag warnings. The food is very good. There are several restaurants lusted, but the reaort only lets you book so many reservations at the a la carte restaurants. This is not explained on the hotel description any where i could find. Most of the staff was exceptionally friendly. Its centrally located which is nice for getring around.lots of kids, lots of retired people. The wifi wasnt great, but it was free. Room was clean, my only complaint there was the maid came in even when i had a do not disturb sign on the door. "

"We went with a family of 11. This was right after the problems with the Cartel. It was very safe and no problems. We were told the hotel was only at 50% capacity due to this. Fiesta Americana decided to cut services. There was no lunch buffett and of the 3 restaurants for dinner they rotated with only 2 open each evening. The breakfast buffett was ok but I found limited options. The 2 lunch restaurants (your only option for lunch) were very good but for rest of the day after lunch you needed to order food or get room service. The food was very good and so was the staff. Our second and 3rd night at dinner it took over 2 hours to get our food as the resort had cut their staff back, the server did their best. Our room was very clean but just ok. We did not even have bedside lamps by our bed and in the evening we had to have our bathroom light on so that pur room wasnt lit up like a christmas tree. You would have thought they would give nicer rooms with so many available. When they came around and asked how everything was I explained I understood adjustments needed to be made due to lower occupancy but we should have been notified ahead of time as we paid full price and supported them without cancelling. She said she understood but we could have paid for an upgrade - pay more to get what we should have had. Unfortunately, none of us would go back again."

"This property was good , however there was a new building being constructed which was very noisy. The bars did not open until 11am and closed early with only one remaining open until midnight. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean , however the cleaners would take the bathmat and hand towel and not replace them. You also had to ask for a facecloth . Overall it was a good trip. The beach was wonderful and the pools were nice."
