"I’d like to start by explaining why I gave this stay a 4-star review. Unfortunately, we did encounter roaches—there were some in the bathroom and one on the bedroom wall. We didn’t notice them our first night, but by the second night, they had appeared. I also noticed that we were staying in the older part of the building. Since it was my first time staying there, I wasn’t aware that there was a newer, nicer section or that it might have been an option. Since we were only there for two nights, I didn’t make a big deal about it and simply mentioned it to the very nice lady at the checkout counter. There was also an older gentleman working at the bar who was a bit rude. Maybe he was just having a bad morning, but everyone else we interacted with was nice for the most part. That being said, the location was great! There are two pools and easy access to the beach, which were definite highlights. We didn’t eat at the resort, so I can’t comment on the food. I would definitely stay here again, but next time I would specifically ask to stay on the newer side of the property. Hopefully, that section doesn’t have the same issue with roaches. One thing I really appreciated was how they handled my friend’s forgotten ID. She left it in the room safe, and since we have a friend who lives in the area, we asked her to stop by and see if she could retrieve it. The staff actually gave it to her, which meant a lot to us and showed a level of trust and helpfulness that I really appreciate"

"When checking in, we didn't realize we had booked an ENCLAVE room which came with a private check-in on one of the top floors. Check-in was a breeze and the staff at the lounge were great. While we waited for our luggage to arrive to our room, we went off to one of the walk-in restaurants on site since we hadn't ate yet. Food was decent. The best spot on the resort was CocoMar. Aside from the food, the pool was great (heated) so it was easy to get in and enjoy without the fear of that ice cold water hitting your body. We also took a dip in the ocean and that was also warm which we weren't expecting. Overall our family enjoyed the location and would come back again."

"You can not a better vacation house. This is the second time our large family of 19 stayed at the house. You can not beat the pool on the beautiful beach. The staff are absolutely amazing. They take care of you- it’s a true vacation. Two meals a day, no dish duty, a pitchers of margaritas brought to the pool side for the adults and pins colada for the kids. House has plenty of room and all the walls are thick so you don’t hear every noise. They help help arrange everything you need from transfers, in house massages, and excursions. It is just magical. Can’t wait to go back again. We also had a medical emergency with a family member when we were there. The staff helped get the ambulance and even rode with us to help translate. They truly take care of you and will be forever grateful to them."

"This place is absolutely amazing! I came here with 10 friends for my bachelorette party and it was the perfect villa. Plenty of room for all of us. The pool is perfect and the views are unbeatable! The staff was immediately welcoming and so helpful every step of the way. They truly made the trip more magical! Can’t wait to come back"

"Our stay was absolutely perfect. Our host Ken was extremely helpful, accommodating and responsive to every message. The Villa was beyond stunning. Every bedroom was comfortable and spacious. We cannot wait to go back as soon as we can to enjoy the spectacular views and infinity pool. The villa caretaker team was amazing as well."

"Villa Ventura was the perfect setting for the vacation of my dreams! From our first walk down the stairs, I knew it would be beyond what we imagined from the photos. Every night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves and every morning we woke up to the smell of an amazing breakfast prepared by the incredible Chef Beto. Danny and Daniel made sure the house ran smoothly and we didn’t have a single worry. Afternoons were spent laughing by the pool as Danny created the most perfect piña coladas and prepped for another phenomenal meal. All the while, Rosario and Alicia made the house sparkle! Planning was so easy with the help of Nora and Patricia. And don’t forget to schedule a service with Jaz and the expert spa team. With town only a few moments away, we had plenty of options for shopping or a night out—but it was hard to leave the luxury of this PERFECT villa. If you are considering a stay, DO IT! Villa Ventura is truly a magical place."
