"This place is gorgeous. We hung out at the pool and watched the lizards and birds. Its set in the jungle so the animals are everywhere and it’s so peaceful. The staff were so professional and polite. The food and drinks were 5*. There is a lot of construction happening so if that’s something that will bother you, plan accordingly. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the extra tipping. I thought it was all included in the all inclusive package but they are asking for more tips. It’s worth it and we are happy to do this, I just wished I had known so I would have brought more cash to avoid fees from the bank machine. My understanding is that it is included, but you’re tipping more based on exemplary service and you feel like a jerk if you don’t tip, at least we felt that way. 10/10, this place is a gem."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. The view was beautiful. Our snorkel trip departed right from the hotel which was a wonderful perk. We were a ten minute uber drive from zona romántica. Which was great for days where we felt like venturing off. I wasn’t a huge fan of the buffet meals. They were okay, we enjoyed breakfast the most. Depending on how long you stayed you were given a voucher to eat at one of their restaurants located on the premises. Those dinner were delicious. Those dinners were booked by reservation only. We ended up going into town for lunch and dinner when we didn’t have a reservation booked. The location of Bercelo’s was the biggest bonus for us. It was about 45min from the airport, close enough to the tourist area but far enough to feel like your a bit secluded. This resort is family friendly but they have separate pools for adults and families. So you can enjoy a quieter pool or join the fun at the family pool. I used the gym once, it was a bit out dated but worked well for what I needed to do. There was a kids room and a kids arcade. I noticed every day they had an activity set up for the kids in the plaza. The hotel is right on the beach so you can enjoy the pool or the beach beds. Overall it was a wonderful experience. There are so many activities at the resort and nearby that you can book for a reasonable price. We will be returning with our children next time."

"Pools werent clean pool decks hadnt been washed in quite a while pool chairs and umbrellas covered in bird mess pools had lots of floaters from plants birds etc areas food in the snack bar was often undercooked we were approached multiple times by hotel "concierges" about a "vacation club" presentation which amounts to a time share which we weren't interested in and felt we almost had to play hide and seek to avoid it. Bar staff in the lobby and pool bars were awesome including Chew,Hugo,Adrian,Luis and,Ivan. They were the best part of the trip rooms were clean and views were awesome but we had to call almost everyday to get enough towels for all of us brought to the room. Minimum food selection at the buffet and only one restaurant besides the buffet children could eat at after lunch time. Our ten year old went to the kids club for a "beach walk" and was given a garbage bag and asked to clean the beach for the staff as well."

"The location and view is spectacular. Lots of furniture inside and out on balcony for viewing the beaches and dolphins. Condo was clean. However the condo could be updated for the cost of the stay. Regina property manager was excellent with help with extras like tours. We did have a full tour with Josephina from Enjoy Puerto Vallarta Travel Agency and it was the best guide we have ever had. Josephina is amazing. 2 weeks with great weather. Definitely recommend this condo and will be coming back. Lorrie April 25 2026. "
