“There was a mix-up with the couple renting the other cabin. They arrived first, and was asked if they were the couple with the dog, and they said yes and were let in the cabin. When we arrived they had started unpacking, so we agreed to let them stay on our cabin, and we stayed in there cabin.There was no loft in our cabin, but we had paid for it. We were not going to make it an issue. We did enjoy our stay. Bed and couch very comfortable. Needs more light in kitchen area.”

“The Whiskey Mountain cabins have been my favorite place to stay in the Leakey, TX area. Ihave stayed several times in different cabins. The cabins are very clean and cozy. It's conveniently located between Leakey and Garner State Park. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive to any needs you have.”

“A hidden gem, so peaceful, beautiful… The hostess was so kind and made our stay lovely with her homemade cinnamon rolls. There are friendly animals to feed and enjoy, as well as a beautifully decorated property that shows the love that has been put into it. The chapel is perfection and a great spot to meditate. Highly recommend, as this place is so comfortable and calming. ”

“The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The ranch the cabin is on is gated, safe and very quiet. Several species of deer live on the property and it was very exciting to watch them be fed by the hosts. There is no light pollution here, so it's amazing to see all of the stars in the sky. The hot tub was great especially while sitting under a starlit sky. We had a great, relaxing time and will definitely be back in the future! I would totally……

“I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. It was my first time using VRBO, so I was a little hesitant…but everything went great! The property was beautiful! We loved the cozy feel. The property was close to Garner State Park, which was a plus for us. The host was very precise/clear with the check-in and check-out procedures. Everything was detailed and upfront- I didn’t have to reach out to ask any……
