visiting beautiful Iceland

there were some difficulties checking in as the code didn't work and it took an hour to get it and the manager wasn't responding. Also, the apartment is over a bar and we could hear people all night long. Definitely bring your noise machine/ear plugs. Otherwise, it's in a good location for exploring Reyjkavik.

In the middle of the action

My only complaint would be the noise going on late into the night. This is mainly because of the location and because you need windows open to keep the temperature comfortable in the summer time. It’s also partially because of the 24 hr of sunlight during the summer. Other than that it’s a great pretty close to everything downtown.

Very cramped and outdated

Listing didn't describe the cramped nature of the accommodation. Very little storage for luggage or clothing. 1st apartment didn't have any hot water. Moved to another that at least had hot water. Very small bathroom with no exhaust fan. No air conditioning meant we had to often open the outside window (door) for cooler air. This meant the street noise was even worse. Bedding was comfortable and clean! Thankfully we didn't have to spend much time in the quarters, except for sleeping.
