I was only here for a quick layover, thus unable to explore a bit and enjoy things like the fire pit or just relaxing outside. If ever I'm back this way I would totally book here again if available. 「Lisa's place was excellent! The check in process was easy. Lisa communicated quickly. And the place was amazing! Wished we could have stayed longer. The interior was clean, furnishings comfortable and the front porch was peaceful to sit on and listen to the nearby creek. It was a.short drive to our favorite area Elkin and close to Stone Mountain and Pilot Mountain. Would highly recommend for relaxing/ peaceful getaway.」

「Great, pretty new place between Elkin and Sparta. About 10 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park. Quiet little road. Is on property with two permanent residences that are fairly close. So, it's fairly private but not secluded. Great for one or two, but not three people or a family unless it's a baby. Central AC and ceiling fans were great for an unusually hot weekend. 「We had a great stay! I cannot stress enough how close and convenient this location is to the Grassy Gap parking area for hiking Doughton Park. That’s what drew me in to book this stay. We didn’t spend much time on premises, so we didn’t utilize the many amenities…hot tub, fire pits, picnic pavilion, etc…but the stay was comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and communication was great.」

「The ladder to the bedroom is very dangerous. I anticipated VRBO would place a strong interest in the safety of guests. Either the access to the 2nd floor is an oversight or safety isn't a core principle of VRBO. The outdoor setting is amazing however, the furniture is stained, unraveling and the cushions have lost all support and comfort.」
