Mt Airy was our trip destination and we were excited to see all about Andy Griffith and the others. Lovely older man at an variety store downtown gave us a simpler map and it was great. Loved the Mayberry police car tour!

Fun day visiting "Mayberry" -- Andy Griffith museum is nice. Did not get to tour the Mt. Airy museum -- ran out of time on a Sunday. Go on another day when more of the businesses are open. Did attend the monthly car show and that was really nice.

Wish we had more time to explore more of the area. But we did get to eat at 13 Bones steak and seafood restaurant, its a must do if you come for a visit or even just passing through. They take reservations, online or call in. Make a reservation.

"Nice place. We have two dogs and it was very dog friendly and very comfortable for one night stay. Can enter rooms via parking lot. Helps to not have to go through a busy lobby! Will remember this one and stay again!"

"This home is very clean, great decorations, a fenced in yard for your pets to play and the host has everything you can imagine for you to use if you forgot some personal items at home, she even had balloons and a birthday cake waiting for me! Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"Our impression…perfect! From the quiet still mornings with coffee out in the swing with Mr Jingles to the late afternoon walks to visit the farm animals and enjoy the scenery was a joy to experience. The cabin was perfect. We fell in love as soon as we drove up. We definitely recommend this to anyone! "
