“I don't usually write negative hotel reviews, especially after a one-night stay, but after spending four nights at Broadfield Park Hotel in Rochdale, I feel it's important to share my experience. My husband and I were initially given a room with a very odd layout, where the TV was positioned away from the bed, making it uncomfortable to watch. Reception advised us to return the next morning, and to their credit, we were offered a choice of alternative rooms. Unfortunately, the second room had……

“Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast. The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )”

“The property was a perfect location for our train ride at Embasy and easy to get to. The breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was very good but Monday was a let down as the buffet style items seem to have run out of hot food at times. We were located in the annexe behind main hotel. Unfortunately these rooms are at the ‘end of the water chain’ both hot and cold ! We couldn’t have a shower etc from 7-30 until about 9 am as nothing came out of the taps.
