"Great place to stay staff very friendly and helpful"

"We stayed in the Malee room (1 Bed Grand Pool Villa) and it was exceptional. It is exactly like how the pictures show. The staff are very accommodating and always looking to help. The property is located up a hill which makes the views exceptional. This also makes it a bit harder to move around as you can't walk to places but there is a free shuttle service to two beaches which mitigates most of that inconvenience. Overall a great luxury property."

"We really enjoy our stay at Starbay. Very nice and private beachfront property, with well equipped homes, that have everything you need for short or long term stays. "Lovely setting with beach bungalows in a nice garden. Breakfast was really tasty - set menu but could order more than one item! Beach itself is idyllic and great for snorkelling/kayaking. Service was really good, especially a big shout out for the ice cream cake for my birthday! Only downside to this place was that the bed was a little hard for us westerners, but aside from that, all good. "

"1st...There is no spa!! The pool is nice, but there is no poolside service. Breakfast was minimal, bot great and not bad, just ok. The hotel seems understaffed and those present do the best they can. The whole place is pretty run down, outdated and just in need of a remodel. The restaurant was ok,and the staff did bring the food to the pool upon request. Overall the price just seemed too much for a run down, understaffed hotel with no spa. "
