"Beautiful interior house (outside is fine as well); spacious, comfortable, all new appliances (although the fridge went out twice when other appliances were started). The owner was very responsive when issues and generous about letting us check in early. One can hear the highway at night in the 2nd room (if you are a light sleeper). Would highly recommend, especially in the summer when you’d have access to the huge lot (we had snow, which was beautiful). "

"Overall, this being our first experience in Washington State, we would absolutely stay here again. The cabin is about 10 minutes from Packwood, which has amazing local eateries—we would honestly come back just for Base Camp Coffee and Cliff Droppers alone. We can’t recommend them enough.The cabin is also about 20–30 minutes from some truly beautiful views, and the property itself offers a stunning mountain backdrop you could soak in for hours. It was perfect for our little family (three dogs included) and had the coziest vibe—ideal for snuggling up and relaxing.The kitchen is well stocked with nearly everything you need, there are board games to keep you entertained, and the fireplace is the perfect way to end the night with s’mores. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back."

"Mike and I enjoyed our visit. We've been there several times and it's always great. My grand-niece (6 yoa) and her parents came up for the weekend; she is starting to refer to Hummingbird Hill as 'our cabin'. As in telling her friends, 'we're going up to our cabin'. :-) Love that kid!And, the best part is always the hummingbirds. It was November and there were STILL a few of them around. I was so pleased they were there. "
