"We had a lovely stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were excellent, the history of the property was fascinating, and we felt so much more relaxed than if we had stayed at a "business hotel". The host greeted us when we returned each evening to ask how our day was and confirm what time we wanted breakfast the next day. Absolutely lovely experience, and we plan on returning."

"I cannot recommend this property enough. The proprietors are fantastic and make you feel like you are truly having an experience rather than just a stay. The breakfast is exceptional and home made with a rotating menu, and the room we stayed in (the Roosevelt Suite) felt like a home away from home. "For what we paid the room was awkward…. With the sink by the bed and the shower not I’m an enclosed room …there were cracks in t by e ceiling and cobwebs in the community space… the breakfast was very disappointing… no bacon or sausage or butter for the waffles …. We were in NH definitely expected bacon and maple syrup for breakfast …. It was more a continental breakfast:("
