San Giuliano Terme Pet-friendly Hotel

"Villa Alta provides beautiful history and art-intense setting, wonderful atmosphere and comfortable conditions for memorable romantic, family or individual stay and events. It is located very close to the cities of Lucca and Pisa, surrounded by the very well-designed and kept Mediterranean garden with the clean and beautiful pool aria. Our family enjoyed peace and quiet at the time of our stay. Food was great, too. We highly recommend this place. "

"Brilliant stay! Sylvia at the check-in was kind and welcoming and....we got to see the beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant, Locanda Sant'Agata, where we were asked to check-in. This was a sight for sore eyes as it was surrounded by rolling hills, as was Cascina canova B &B, which was only a few minutes from the hotel. There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! "I was disappointed to find out that this hotel was tucked away in an awkward location. I read that it was a 15 min walk from the leaning tower of Pisa but it is actually a 15/20 minute drive instead. There is a bus stop fairly close by that tou can walk to but this only runs once an hour. The rooms are very basic but this is expected for the price however they are clean and comfortable. The pool area was disappointing as it looks nicer in the pictures than actually there. Lots of flies in the...
