“We felt the warm hospitality of our hosts. They were helpful with navigating us to interesting sites in Lucca and suggest more scenic towns to visit. Our room was outstanding an we were very comfortable. The spa was a plus. The B&B is fitted with state of the art access control and we were free to access the common areas if needed. We recommend this B&B for great value and hospitality.”
“We loved our stay here. The suite was very clean and comfortable and it was in a great location very close to Lucca's wall. We loved the breakfast as well. We are vegan and when we asked about options our host was so accommodating and helpful.”
“Had a lovely stay. Owners were very accommodating and pleasant. Place was so convenient to Lucca city center walking. Easy parking. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic place to explore Lucca!”
“Accommodating, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, location superb for easy reach inside Lucca walls, quirky and not your run of the mill small hotel. Breakfast best we've ever had and we're frequent travellers. Hosts fantastic. Bed and room comfortable. Highly recommend.”
“Everyone was so welcoming! Ina at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond and gave great recommendations. Great location as well very walkable to the historic area. The rooms were nice as well. Definitely recommend”
“Le Dimore del Borgo is just on the outskirts of Lucca, 5min walk and you enter the walls of Lucca. Parking at the hotel is limited, about 10ish cars in total directly at the back of the hotel in an off street secure parking lot.
The hotel reception is not staffed 24-7.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, with cooking facilities and dining table. The bathroom was very clean.
There is no bar or restaurant in this hotel, but breakfast is available if booked in advance (I believe it is……
“This was a GREAT stay! Perfect location ... right in the Roman theater arena, yet our room was not on the inside of the walls, so it was nice and quiet at night. Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable; location was perfect. We were at the arena, close to the Roman wall around the city, and very close and walkable to several food, shopping, and historical sights. Definitely recommend this location!”
“Beautiful converted hotel constructed in the 1700’s. Modern amenities. Like an elevator. Room had spa batch and separate shower. Breakfast had sweets and fresh fruits along with cheeses and assorted meats. No eggs. Room was comfortable. Most important is its location in the middle of Centro storico. Parking was a few steps away. ”
“My stay was superb from being greeted by Anna and her warm and helpful attitude each day. Breakfast was more than just standard continental. The owner Alexandro and his entire staff were extremely friendly, helpful and guided me during my stay as a single woman traveling alone. Grazie mille!”
