“The parking lot has giant pot holes near the entrance which was our first red flag. We arrived a little after 4pm and was informed that despite check in starting at 3pm our room was not ready and it would be another hour and a half. The woman at the desk gave us a master key card so we could use the pool and asked us to only use it on the pool room and not other things which seemed like a security violation. When we went go the pool room, it wasn't even locked up so the master key card was……

“Each time we choose to visit the lake and occasionally due to unpredictable circumstances; this hotel is the only option to stay ! It’s always clean , proximity to the beach area , stores and restaurants. The hotel staff is always accommodating. The location is our favorite , especially being close to the freeway, for any emergency exits .The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean and the lake view is amazing! If you’re like us and like nice things , this location is the place to be .……

“My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept. When we got into our room, it was so cute and very clean. That bed was so comfortable, I wanted to take it home. 😅 Check in and out was so incredibly easy. We saw……

“Good electric hookups”

“This hotel was a surprise for me, I tend to not use the Super8 motels. However, this facility was perfect. The location is perfect for accessing attractions in the area, plenty of food options close by, Lake Erie beach within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Beds and pillows were comfy. We had a girls weekend, and Sunny (manager) was the perfect host-provided information regarding the area, always helpful and kind. He even had a toothbrush for my friend. “The location was great! Private beach was very nice. The office closes at 8:00 and that is where the ice machine is located, so no ice after 8. Could have been a bit cleaner, but overall, a great place to stay.”

“Metal strip going into the bathroom was not nailed down and very hazardous. The shelf in the bathroom fell down upon touching it. and the blow dryer was burnt out. The location is nice and front desk friendly. If you're ok with really budget accommodations, then it's fine.”

“The property had a really great location for what we were looking for. It was very reasonably priced. The staff was really great. The manager Zach takes care of you.”

“The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to restaurants or just taking a stroll through downtown. Our room was clean and very well decorated. While having a waterfall shower was great, there was only a partial glass wall and no shower door, so naturally when you shower there for is getting extremely wet. I would recommend bringing your own snacks, because the snacks they provide in the room are very pricy. The staff was super friendly!!”

“Very clean and well maintained. The TV was about 32 inches which isnt a big deal but its nice to watch TV in your room at night. The "beach towels" are tiny so take your own. Continental breakfast is "chilled food" so toast cereal yogurt. Kids in the adult pool most of the time. But overall for the price it was worth it.”
