“There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. “I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms. ”

“Ric’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard and has all the amenities for an extremely comfortable stay in Whitstable. A bit of trouble initially finding a parking space but once we found one, we had no need to use the car again, as everything was within walkable distance. Lovely garden for sundowners! “The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had.”

“The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Very short walk into town with all of its amenities. Stone bay and its beach below the house. Lots of hot water. The TV aerial appeared to be out of the back of the TV so no terrestrial Television but there was Netflix. No obvious folder with instructions on how to work things or what to do when leaving short of put keys back in lockbox. Fortunately I am a seasoned self catering renter so took away the rubbish etc.”

“The location of the hotel was wonderful; right in the centre of Sandwich. No on site parking but the market car park was only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and efficient and check in was quick and easy. The room was small but clean with a comfortable bed. It took a long time for the hot water to arrive but when it did the shower was good with nice big bath towels. My only complaints were that the wifi was dreadful/non existent and, contrary to their website, no hot breakfast……
