"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"Great hotel to stay at in La Fortuna. A beautiful view of the Volcano from the back patio. It’s a smaller hotel, with a few hot springs that we never spent any time in. This was a short trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was very tasty and they had ok iced lattes (they were just a bit watery). The dinner menu wasn’t super impressive, but most of the dinner menus we saw in Costa Rica are not. "

"Nice view to the Arenal volcano from the patio and beautiful jungle full of flowers and hummingbirds in front of you! We stayed on the first floor so you have to keep the door closed at all times specially at night when the frogs comes out! The food at the restaurant was terrible, fortunately we had a car and drove to La Fortuna for dinner which is about 25-30 minutes away. The road is hard to drive so it was inconvenient after a day full of activities."

"Pictures do not do it justice. Hotel was great room was just right and the cleaned pergevtly everyday we asked for it. Staff was great with bag help and setting up excursions. Location was great 5$ cab to downtown and con vienient to be picked up for excursions. Volcano is right with a great view from the deck!!! Had a few minor things with the restaraunt but still an 8/10. Upstairs there is a small patio for drinks and bar menu, tables had swings for seats, wife loved it. Could use a nice...
