Relaxing and quiet

We had a very good experience here. The condo is nicely decorated. Everything smelled clean including the extra blankets. The only thing that I didn’t like was the size of the bathrooms. They are pretty tight.

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have is that the condo seemed hot and muggy at times. The thermostat would not go below 68 degrees and even at 68 degrees, the condo was hardly ever at 68 degrees. Mostly stayed around 70 the entire time. We used all the fans available. Overall, great, clean place!

Perfect birthday getaway

This condo is a gem! The location is fabulous. It is directly on the beach and to have beach chairs set up everyday is a game changer! We plan on bringing our kids next time. The condo was clean, smelled nice and pleasantly decorated.

Great getaway

Incredible location. Beautiful view of the beach. Strong wifi. Clean. Plenty of room for two adults and a teenager. Con - Retractable doors (where laundry is located) were off track. Would definitely stay there again.

Great view

Loved this condo and that there are 2 king bed rooms with a pull out couch and hide away bed. Only thing I would ask for is additional cookware as we cooked several meals for the kids and this was limited. Plenty of towels and pillows. Loved the kitchen island!

All Good

All good, very nice beachfront condo. Very well anointed. Only problem is that the plastic sheets on mattress did not breathe very well. A blanket would have also been a nice thing to have.

Beachcrest 402 for the win!

Our condo was an excellent location with beautiful view. It was recently updated and very comfortable. It had quick beach access. Our booking included bike rentals that our boys got a lot of use out of.

Lovely condo

This condo was perfect for four and had a fantastic view. Great access to the private beach. The property provides only two chairs per unit - get up really early to grab them if you want to be near the water. The management office is super responsive to any needs. Overall, a lovely condo and we would definitely stay again.

great location for low key get away

wanted to stay away from Destin and all the action. Got just what we wanted. Quiet beach vacation. The condo was great. clean and updated. There were 3 things that were minor annoyances. 1. No room darkening curtains. It was REALLY bright at night. 2. Master bathroom toilet was a really tight squeeze and we are NOT big people 3. and this is very nit picky, the can opener was no good. They need to replace it. Otherwise the place was perfect!

LEAKING and hot Air Conditioner!!

Shocking that we had a leaking AC and we had to turn it off to thaw out for a couple of hours then back on for a while!! It was very hot! After 3 days the AC company came and said it needed a new coil but he had to order it! Thursday, May 26, 2022 Smell, as soon as we walked in we smelled the mildew, not knowing the AC was leaking, we thought it was the damp towels that were left ON the BED. We called immediately about this and did not hear back until the next day and no one came from Benchmark until Saturday. We used Lysol and air freshner due to the terrible smell. My daughter in law stayed one night at 30A Inn for 400 dollars as she was pregnant and could not take the smell. Towels, We had six guests, wet towels and only 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. I called immediately to request towels and they stated they had to come from a warehouse and we did not get until the next day. We bought wash cloths and used our personal beach towels and 2 of us showered at a friends condo. Friday, May 27, 2022Towels, arrived after 4pm AC issue, Around 11 pm we were woken by a loud knock on the door. The downstairs guest said water is coming into her condo from us and were we bathing? NOPE washing dishes: NOPE Running water anywhere: nope…. We advised the AC was leaking. Around midnight a benchmark repairman bangs on our door and wakes us up again! We told him the problem. Still no one came to fix this unit. The air conditioner did not consistently work, because it kept freezing up, therefore, we had to turn it off to thaw then back on to cool. Water was seeping through the flooring in the kitchen which was causing the smell and I had to put towels down and keep wiping it up to ensure not trip/slip. And it was causing a leak into the below unit. AC, I called immediately and a maintenance person came on Friday Stating he would have the AC company come at 6pm to fix he advised that we cannot keep the unit cold as that is why it is freezing up. I paid for AC, not AC to freeze up, turn it off and burn up then back on for a ridiculous cycle. AC company did not arrive that night and it was HOT. Saturday, May 28, 2022 A benchmark representative advised via text that after our stay they would look into compensation or a discount for the problems. STILL water leaking from the AC, AC not able to run due to freezing up. FRUSTRATING Sunday, May 29,2022 AC NEVER Repaired, Since the AC was not repaired we Thursday

Great Location

While the condo is on the older side, it was very clean and you can't beat the location and access to the beach. Great views and with in walking distance to many good restaurants.

Great view.

Lovely view. Comfortable master bed. Average guest beds. Comfortable and adequate seating in family room. Appliances and dishes very dated, but worked fine. Rust stains all over side of fridge. Old and worn bathroom faucets. Overall, fine condo. Comfortable. Clean. Just in need of some updating and simple TLC.
