Welcome to Sand Crab Cottage. While its name reminds you that you are on a relaxing beach vacation, its décor is pure luxury. Children will love this home's bright coral bunk area and spacious brick patio just begging for sidewalk chalk and riding toys. But the adults will truly appreciate all that Sand Crab Cottage offers, such as elegantly appointed bedrooms with custom draperies and bedding. Throughout the home, white shiplap walls and Carrera marble counters provide the perfect backdrop for the pops of coral, gold, and aquamarine. The main living area is spacious yet connected, allowing conversation whether you're prepping dinner in the gourmet kitchen or curled up on the den's deep-cushioned couch. Multiple French doors open to the roomy screened-in porch with a gas fireplace, and a mounted TV. Enjoy a fire watching the big game while sipping cocktails during the cooler months, or unplug and eat a quiet dinner set to the symphony of cicadas and tree frogs in the summer. The front porch offers a bed swing perfect for reading a book or taking a nap as you await friends and family to return from the beach or pool. Backing up to the State Forest, and on one of the largest lots in Watercolor, Sand Crab Cottage offers tranquil privacy with easy access to community amenities. Whether you are visiting Camp Watercolor, the beach, or the food trucks in Seaside, each is just a short walk, leisurely bike ride, or golf cart drive away.

NOTE: When booking, please provide the correct number of adults and children that will be staying in the home. WaterColor requires a wristband for all guests 5 years and older, to allow access to the amenities (pool and beach) so you must provide the correct number of guests to ensure everyone will have access to the community amenities. We are not able to provide additional wristbands after your arrival, so it is imperative you inform us at least two weeks before your arrival if there is a change after the time of booking. The HOA will not allow more than 12 guests in this home at any time, and they will not issue more than 12 bands per stay. No exceptions can be made.

Many of the communities along 30A are continuing to expand, so many more individuals can come enjoy the crystal blue waters of the Panhandle. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is construction and all the items that come along with it, such as noise, road blocks, etc. We understand this can be inconvenient for our guests, which is why we have chosen to make all possible guests aware of the possibility of this during their beach vacation. As most of this is outside of 30A Cottages realm of control, we are not able to offer discounts/compensation for any noise complaints, road blockades, etc. during a guest's stay. NOTE: Golf cart rentals in WaterColor must be made through The Electric Cart Company and will be limited to a certain number of vehicles (approximately 45 per week) throughout the community at any given time. Only one cart may be rented per home and rentals will be granted on a first-come, first served basis. Please contact Electric Cart Company directly for availability and pricing.

Parking
Sand Crab Cottage has designated parking for 3-4 vehicles in the driveway. Rented LSV's (golf carts) must be parked in one of the designated, on-property parking spaces.

WaterColor will only issue two parking passes per property. Any additional vehicles parked in the community without a parking pass displayed could be fined and or towed. WaterColor also has public on-street parking throughout the community for overflow vehicles; parking is on a first come, first served basis and passes must be displayed at all times.

(Note: Homeowners do have dogs, therefore anyone with allergies to dogs will need to be conscious of this.)

Reservation/Booking Policy
***The cancelation policy and terms of the 30A Cottages & Concierge Vacation Rental Agreement emailed to you at confirmation override any terms and policies from a third party booking site such as VRBO.com, HomeAway.com, or VacationRentals.com. We are not able to reimburse any additional service fees incurred for online bookings outside of our company website since these fees are charged by a third party. We do not offer 100% refund for cancelation at any time after the booking has been processed. A 5% cancelation fee will be charged to cover credit card and document processing for all cancelations.

~ Except for a 5% cancelation fee, the initial 50% payment is fully refundable if cancelations are given more than 60 days prior to the arrival date
~ Optional travel insurance plans are available to our guests; some restrictions and timelines apply. Ask for details when booking. Insurance must be purchased BEFORE the final payment or at the time the reservation is paid in full.
~ CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4:00 P.M. (CST) & CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 A.M.
~ Tenant must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age and will be an occupant of the Premises during the entire Rental Period. Reservations shall not be made by or for any person under the age of twenty-five (25), and no key will be issued to anyone who is not twenty-five (25) years of age. This house was nothing short of amazing. My family was SO happy here. The neighborhood is beautiful and has so many family friendly amenities (multiple pools, tennis, beach). The home layout is perfect and decorated so beautifully. We absolutely loved staying here and are already talking about when we can go back! What an amazing house for our first time visiting Watercolor. July is a very busy month and the location of the house was perfect to escape the crowds and is situated back in a very quiet cul-de-sac. House is very spacious with an amazing open concept kitchen/family room. We definitely plan on visiting again!

It’s an exceptional property. Very accommodating to our family of three couples and 5 children from 1 to 9. Spacious and 3 porches. A golf cart for that kind of group is important since the beach club is a considerable walk with kids. The walks to the Camp Watercolor and the Frog Pool are doable.

This is a beautiful property. It’s located on a quiet street, free from traffic and fairly close to the pool and camp watercolor. The house was well stocked and there was a lot of sleeping capacity. This was by far our favorite property at Watercolor.

We loved staying at the Playmoor House. It is beautifully decorated and has plenty of space. The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking. The location is a quick bike ride or walk to Camp Watercolor pool and a 5 minute drive to the beach club. This is our first time to Watercolor in the summertime and we loved it. We have been 2 other times over spring break which we stayed at the Watercolors Resort and a different property. We would definitely consider this property again the next time we come back!

We had a Girls Weekend and it was amazing!! We had 7 women stay the weekend and this house could not have been more perfect. It is beautifully furnished with every amenity you can imagine. It was chilly so we had a fire in the fireplace on the back porch and it was wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and supplied. There was plenty of space for all of us to relax and plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for privacy.

The care that the owners and management company has is obvious from the moment you walk in the door. A generous amount of windows lets in plenty of natural light and surrounding beauty. The open floor plan was perfect for our group, yet the bedrooms are located in such a manner as to provide privacy when needed. We were initially concerned that this location would be a considerable distance from where we wanted to be, but that wasn’t the case at all. Everything was close and easily accessible and our neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Thank you. We’ll be back.
