Lovely Home

This house was perfect for us. The view is amazing and we spent our days watching the beautiful ocean from the back patio. It is one of the traditional homes on the ocean, which is something we like. We did not want or need the giant type new build home. We like the character of the older beach homes. Also, this house is close enough that our kids could easily walk to downtown Seaside.

Getaway for the 4th

Wonderful stay at the Yellow House. Perfect for older couples not wanting to trek across 30A to the beach. The house was precious and full of charm. We will be back!

Very good but could be brilliant

I gave it 5 stars but could have easily been 4, just because of the little things that could or should be done to make the experience so much better. The positives- the pictures are accurate as is the description, the location is amazing, right on the beach, 4 bedrooms, plenty of space. Nice big kitchen and I loved the fact it’s single storey. The downsides- this place needs some money out in to it in my opinion- the beds are very firm, bed sheets are a bit stiff, the toilet bowl brushes need replacing, the couches need to be professionally cleaned, new frying pans (impossible to cook eggs on those pans) and the WiFi has a blank spot in one corner of the house (minor). Again, great location, but as this house has been owned by them for decades I think they should spend some money on the insides without giving up the authenticity of the house. I would stay here again.

The Lovely Yellow House

Perfect location on the beach! Loved the deck area that overlooked the beach and the private beach access. The home is filled with pictures of the family over the years - a lot of neat history - and it is warm and welcoming. It's an easy walk to Seaside (around a mile). The property manager is wonderful and prompt in communications. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Beach House

Spectacular views of the beach. Spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of chairs and beach toys for our indoor and outdoor enjoyment. Centrally located.

Have stayed here before. Great location on the beach. House is unassuming on the front but nice on the inside. Love the grassy area in the back (maybe set the sprinklers to 1 hour instead of 2).

Amazing location and well-run property

My family had a great experience here. The location was all we could have hoped for being right on the beach, and just a short walk to seaside. The kids could come in and out of the house to/from the beach as they please. We’ll definitely look to rent this property again.

Family together time

We so enjoyed our stay even thru a tropical storm. We binge watched Netflix abs stayed in our pjs for a day and than right back to the beach and it’s peace!! Perfect get away and location!!

Yellow house stay

Awesome view. Plenty of room for family of 10. Loved the location and being right on the beach. Beach equipment had everything you needed. Beach towels provided is a plus as well. Would rent again.

Not perfect--but, perfect

Well-worn? Sure--but,in the end, it's hard to complain. Aesthetically, the interior leaves a little to be desired. But, everything was clean, worked like a charm, well-stocked and appointed, and the property well-managed. A seven-minute bike ride to Seaside keeps you close enough to the action without being in the chaos. However, where this place really excels is the outdoor space and beach access. Multiple seating areas outside fit nearly every occasion from watching sunsets to playing cornhole. My only caution (and it's minor) is that larger families or groups might find the single-floor layout challenging at night, especially for those that go to bed early. In the end, the Yellow House has the charm, amenities, and location that make it a great place to stay.

Just Perfect

We unanimously agreed this trip wouldn’t have been as incredible as it was without our stay in the Yellow House. Truly. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The house has been well cared for and had thoughtful and intentional items that make you feel like it was set up for you to really live in and feel at home. The access to the beach and all the gear provided were much better than expected and having a spot of grass/yard to play in and sit out on to get all the benefits of the beach, but not have to mess with the sand was a perfect break during the day or end to the night. We really can’t say enough wonderful things and hoping to return to this very house again as soon as possible!
