" basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night"

"All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and freshly made, decent beer and a relaxed vibe. Nice rural village, and a decent room. I didn't realise when I booked that it was a bath with no shower, and being over six foot, I could not stand up in the bath and use the spray attachment because of the low-sloping roof - but I still enjoyed the stay"

We picked The Guiting Guest House because it was centrally located to many of the National Trust Sites (Manors and Gardens) we had planned to visit. The Hosts, Lou and Graham were incredible. "Overall it was a very nice stay, the room (Sienna) was luxurious with excellent kitchen facilities a really comfy, big bed and a nice looking terrace (although the rain put paid to using it). It is situated perfectly with great independent eateries and bars within a short walk. Parking is a little difficult and if there were some way of communicating exactly when a space would be free that would be more convenient. The lack of a working freezer compartment was the only other downside although...
