“I don't know whether the hotel has upgraded my room or not. The room was at the end of the corridor which has a fantastic and wonderful 180 degree view (3 different directions) of andalsnes. The breakfast was very good and there is coffee maker in the room. The hotel was located in a higher level of andalsnes. So you need to carry your luggage uphill if you arrive andalsnes by train or by bus in andalsnes station. Fortunately, I travelled from molde to andalsnes by bus. So that I can get off……

“This was the first place we stayed in Iceland and we loved it! The food options were great, the drinks at the bar were incredible, the breakfast was delicious, the beds were very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. I have to give a huge shoutout to Benni who was working reception overnight, the 3rd night of our stay. He gave us guidance regarding seeing the aurora borealis and was so incredibly kind and gracious. ”

“We had a great stay here. Riverside building with sauna room and balcony. Very cold in winter while stay at balcony but luckily we saw aurora in midlight . Room is clean and shower is very hot.Bed too soft for us. Great breakfast, very kind staff. Near supermarket. 15EURO for airport transfer &10EURO for bus station transfer. "Disappointed stay. The worst shower among all my hotel experience with water temperature keep jumping from warm to cold every 2 seconds!! Can't sleep well as room temperature is high at night no matter how you try to adjust it. The carpet just beneath the bed is loose and we nearly fell down a number of times during our stay. Cleanliness is yet to improve as there is hair on the bed sheet when we just check in and the carpet on the corridor outside the room is full of obvious white small pieces. Room window is facing their internal structure and so can only see other rooms when we look out the window. The so-called swimming pool is just a small play pool for children. Breakfast though appear to have variety but is just limited to 100% western food without any Asian food. Overall, consider it is just a business hotel instead of a tourist hotel. As a tourist, it will be more enjoyable to choose another international branded hotel which will be more cross cultural and home felt."
