“A lot of reviews for this house were quite bad. This is the review of the room we had on the ground floor.
Massive room & bathroom. Shower for less able people & a lovely big bath. Everywhere was spotless. We had a 6 foot bed that was very comfortable. Yes, the wallpaper was old & stained but this house is very old & must take a great deal of upkeep. The dining room was lovely, as was the breakfast
Our friends had the room next door & their opinion was the same as ours. All 4 of us would……

“Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience.
The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent.
The room is spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom is small and the height of the bath may be a bit tricky for some. No baths are allowed and I found the water temperature on the tepid side when I……

“Excellent property directly opposite the port. Old buildings as expected, but beautifully refurbished.
My room was large, spotlessly clean and full of nice touches, including lots of tabletops and drawers. The big surprise was the bathroom. It was enormous with a large modern soaker tub, separate shower stall, wc and vanity.
(The only downside is trying to find a parking spot which is very difficult throughout this town, so be prepared to drop off, or walk with your luggage.)
The restaurant……

“The only word to describe the holiday home and the whole experience is perfect. I can't use the word caravan and it's better than that it's a true home from home. It had everything you need and more..
Kids loved the fast broadband and smart TV.
There was a welcome basket with things you need for your first night..
I would recommend this home to anybody and everybody xxx”
