"This is an older property that has been renovated. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Hot and humid weather is typical in Tampa. The AC did not disappoint. It kept the room very cool. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The parking fee was reasonable, but the lot is small. Extra parking is in a parking deck next to the surface lot. Great location for attending events at the stadiums. The full restaurant and bar is a nice perk. We felt safe and had a good stay."

"Our first room smelled musty, and Abigail happily upgraded us to a beautiful suite that didn’t smell musty at all. We only stayed for the one night (following the Lightning’s home opener win), but if we could have, we would’ve stayed for a week. The in-house Café Quiquiriqui offers free Buddy Brew coffee for hotel guests in the morning and made us a delicious (and reasonably priced), made-to-order breakfast sandwich with real eggs. Hotel Haya is a true gem and a great value. Highly recommend."
