「Great place to live」

「We were greeted by the owner with a smile and very helpful information to make our stay excellent. She sat down with us to help us plan our hiking experience. The room was extremely clean and set up nicely. The food was delicious and the homemade chocolate chip cookies were the best ever! A wonderful stay and I recommend it highly.」

「Vintage roadside motel vibes. The very kind owner checked me in around 8:30pm. The room is quirky/quaint with 1980s feel/decor. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and it was completely quiet at night. (In fact, I think I may have heard Coyotes in the distance). Internet worked well cable television. 「We had a great stay at Shadowcrest! Brendan was very communicative with the check in process and was very hospitable and friendly during our stay. He gave us some great local recommendations which we enjoyed. Shadowcrest was clean and made you feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Brendan for a great time!」

「Hitorical, straightforward, part of REAL community, NOT A STERILE HOTEL, personable while professional. It has old fashioned boarding house charm. Highly recommend, unless you are seeking the Hilton.」

「We were in the area for an event at Belleayre Mountain. The location was extremely convenient. Our stay was very comfortable and our hostess, Tanya, was friendly and welcoming. Her breakfasts each day were freshly prepared and delicious. We would definitely return to this property in the future.」

「This place is gorgeous. It’s a mid century hotel with rustic touches. Very inviting, very relaxing. Takes you back to calmer easier times. Huge great room with lots of windows, a fireplace and a bar. Large deck has rocking chairs, a fire pit and quite the view, it overlooks 5 states. 「The lodge is new (or at least under new ownership). The new team is running a fantastic operation. Super welcoming and friendly. The place has a true “summer camp” vibe where new people meet one another and leave as friends. Def book your next stay in the Catskills here!」

「Laureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. 「We only stayed one night at the Starlite Motel. This motel is not like other places we have stayed. It was quiet and it had character. We really liked that our room included a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The backyard area was great for us to relax with friends and play games.
