"We had a wonderful time at this ryokan. We chose this inn specifically for its remote location and traditional atmosphere and were not disappointed. "This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed! Amazing view of the mountains. The cottage was spacious, warm, beautifully presented and had all the amenities as described. The reception staff were so friendly and were able to help us with a few questions in English. They even gave us a mobile phone so we could call them from the cottage if required. Only issue is transport to the location is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. We were aware of this and messaged ahead to ask about the availability of the hotel shuttle bus to the bus stop for our departure. Unfortunately, when we arrived the receptionist was unaware they had a shuttle bus and was very unwilling to check the information we were given or even help us sort out alternative travel. It led to a bit of a concerning situation for our travel plans before another staff memeber corrected her and arranged our transport."
