"Just fantastic. Beautiful white sand clean..Beach.. View was great Restaurants and Food Breakfast first class.. Destin, Sandestin Hilton resort.. Best view from the 11 th floor.. Balcony and Beach front.. Worth the extra cost.. We plan to return with the family.. Just do it.. If you have kids they will have a blast..👋🙏☀️ Safe and secure.."

"Our 2 star rating reflects our kichen area with no dishes or utensils. I asked the front desk. “We don’t supply them. I can get you a couple of sets of plastic ones. There was only one wire trash can for 3 rooms. Again, reflected by rating. We tipped housecleaning well. They weren’t to blame. The breakfast served mostly fatty and way undercooked bacon on one day. Toast would barely brown after multiple passes through its inadequate toaster. A radical disappointment from our usual Marriott stays."

"Our experience at Hotel Effie exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way. I knew it was going to be nice, but I was really blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the consideration for the birthday we were celebrating, and just generally the beauty of the property. We were treated so well I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was 10/10. My only complaint was having to pay $24.95 for self parking per day, but that’s a small ding in an otherwise stellar visit. Thank you to everyone on property for such a beautiful stay. We can’t wait to come back and staycation with you all again."
