“The room was clean tidy and well equipped. As we are british we drink tea and the room has two tea bags.... I know you can get them from reception but quite frankly its poor. We had drinks in the bar prior to eating out with our friends and the bar prices I felt were very reasonable and were cheaper than the restaurant we ate in. However the bar staff (young man) spent most of his time chatting to other members of staff rather than mannin the actual bar. He was polite and courteous but need to……

“This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”

“Totally enjoy the hot tub with stunning views, so relaxing. The bar area is amazing relaxing for a drink and good bar food for a chilled evening. Staff are super welcome and attentive for the service. Fabulous breakfast with amazing sunrise view. Would definitely stay again.”
