"Primero para hacer check in solo tenian dos personas para hacer el check in de varios huéspedes que habian llegado al momento que nosotros. El check in fue lento por eso duramos alrededor de 30 min esperando mas los minutos que tenian que durar con nosotros para hacer el check in. Senti que dure casi una hora en eso. Luego de eso nos habían dicho que las maletas iban a estar en la habitación para cuando estuviéramos ahi. Cuando llegamos no estaban, llamamos a recepción y dijimos que no estaban se pusieron a investigar y la habian dejado en otra habitación. Pero cabe destacar que fueron bien atentos y se agilizaron rapido para encontrarlas. Aparte de todos estos imprevistos que nos pasaron esta es mi segunda vez que vuelvo al hotel y siento que el hotel no es igual que antes, me refiero a que quitaron cosas que antes tal vez para mi era un plus para poner otras cosas. Me encantan el staff siempre bien amables y atentos. A mi esposo y a mi no nos gusto que hay que caminar muchisimo sentimos que todo quedaba lejos (entiendo la parte de ampliar y crecer) pero deberian de poner carritos de golf para llevar a los huéspedes de un lado al otro o encontrar otra manera. El buffet principal de la nueva fase sentimos que siempre era lo mismo. En el mercado la merced habia mas variedad de comida. En fin nos encantó el hotel pero para mi esposo y para mi ya no es igual. Hubieron cosas que pregunte que había disfrutado la 1era vez y que ya no tienen."

"There were a few things that I didn’t like. 1. When you arrive to resort, the host gets you full attention at all times to help with check-in. Once they wanted to set a meeting to have breakfast and try to sell a timeshare, I was not interested and mentioned I don’t want to waste their time. The host was not very polite. He response was it very polite. 2. When you walk into a restaurant that needs a reservation and didn’t make one. They were very polite and we waited to be seated. While we were waiting, none got our attention to get a drink or anything. After a while, we got a table at the end of the restaurant. No one was around the area and felt they didn’t treat us the same as others. There were lots of tables available and in a better location where we could be seated during our visit. The food experience. I ordered a New York steak, it was ranchera meet and was not good. I was not impressed with the meet. Waiters Service in general was a great experience. 3. On our last day, my wife and I were in the pool swimming around 9:30pm. One of the worker from the hotel walked in our room and came out to the pool to ask if we needed anything. I feel like there were no privacy and no reason why to walk in the room that late. He ask if we need it to make our bed when the bed didn’t need any attention. I reserved a room with share pool for privacy to be able to swing late after we were back from other parks in our room. Paid extra money for special occasion."

"My five-day stay at Barceló Adults Only was an absolutely relaxing and luxurious escape. From the moment we arrived, the resort felt elegant, and peaceful. My ocean-view room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with breathtaking views that made every morning and evening feel special. The property was well maintained, the atmosphere was serene, and the adults-only setting created the perfect balance of sophistication and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the resort's pools, beach access, dining options, and attentive service; the experience felt elevated and effortless. Overall, Barceló provided the perfect setting for a five-day getaway. It was peaceful, beautiful, and luxurious without feeling overly formal. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly return for another adults-only oceanfront escape."
