"We truly enjoyed the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with plenty of protein and lots of variety, lots of fresh fruit and usually some special treat. I really enjoyed the blueberry cake. They had a treat they put out each afternoon around 4 o’clock. The lemon pound cake was our favorite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was super close to downtown, but probably two blocks from the busier part of downtown which I kind of liked because it was a little quieter but very walkable to the downtown area and all the shops and even the Harbor was maybe an 8 min walk. Our favorite lobster pound was the travelin lobster which was about 18 mins away. We decided our favorite place for blueberry pie was a Side Street Cafe right there in Bar Harbor. We also enjoyed renting e-bikes and were able to cover about 26 miles of the carriage roads in Arcadia in under 5.5 hours with lots of stops for pictures and lunch. We used Acadia E-bike adventure and were super pleased. We truly enjoyed our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and we definitely would stay at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel if we were going back. "
