“This property is not up to Hampton standards. It is very tired and needs complete remodeling. Although some remodeling was evident, the hallways, rooms, furnishings needs to be updated. Our room was clean, but it had a broken TV, worn sofa, the bed was comfortable. The staff came quickly when we complained about the TV, but by the time the TV issue was solved, we missed the final USA soccer match. Very sad.. Totally out of their hands, the the lack of restaurants near the hotel. Only Red……

“The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is safe. We stayed one night for a wedding in German Village, so it was very close and we Ubered to and from the venue. It was perfect for our stay. House does have central air and the downstairs was comfortable, but the bedrooms were a bit stuffy. One bedroom did have a window unit, but no ceiling fan. (It did have a portable fan). The other bedroom had a ceiling fan but no window unit. I would still recommend this house to……

“This is a most unique place to stay! Loved it! The beer fridge in the room and in the bathroom were awesome! The atmosphere is fantastic. The pictures tell the story. We met family and ate in the bar and grill area. Staff in both places were friendly and helpful. You want a fun change to a regular hotel? Try the Doghouse!”
