「The area is nice it’s near town. The house isn’t very clean. There’s stains on the carpet, The floor wasn’t clean. The silverware and knife’s played some were not washed they had previous guests stuff in them. The pots don’t work for cooking very well they are pretty old. We found 2 cockroaches in the kitchen unfortunately. The house is nice it just needs more keeping up with and for it to be cleaned.」

「Basic good and clean, nicely decorated! It is very brightly lit inside, the bed is nice and squishy memory foam, not suitable if you need a firm mattress though. Very quiet area around the house.」

「We had a great stay at The River House! Everything was super clean. The beds were comfortable and the house is tastefully furnished with all the essentials. It’s in a great location with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores, but still quiet and rural. Communication was great and check-in/check-out were easy and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Where do I even start! My family and I loved everything this little home had to offer. It was so comfortable and felt like home. The bathroom was big and spacious while the beds were comfy as well. Thank you Wendy for letting us stay in your home while we were out playing on the river. It felt great to come back to a space that was cool and relaxing. We can’t wait to come back and visit.」

「Gina was unobtrusive but available. The house was lovely and we were welcomed to take advantage of the shared spaces in addition to the Cowgirl suite upstairs with its king bed ( so comfy!) We walked the couple blocks to the restaurants and shops of historic Jacksonville. Highly recommended 👍」

「What you see advertised is what you get, a nice home right across the street from the lake. One thing I always appreciate is a well stocked home, nobody wants to have to buy toilet paper on vacation! This home had everything we needed and in abundance. I didn’t need to contact the host because there were no problems. But when I let them know we were going to check out early the morning we left they immediately replied.
